I need some input regarding these two clinics if you used them for IVF (with or without a donor). Was your experience good, bad, indifferent? How was bedside manner, quality, cleanliness, etc? I'm asking because:
The clinic closest to us is Virginia IVF (VAIVF), and the pricing looks good, but I'm hung up on two things:
1 - In the year that I've been researching, the site says a cohort is 8 eggs. When I emailed the coordinator with some questions, she asserts the cohort will be 6 eggs and says that's been their policy since 2014.
2 - They have frozen eggs from 25 donors available, but no way to see any donor info online.
Out of curiosity, I've looked at other options and found CNY Fertility in New York. It seems to be worth the trip... $5,000 to $6,000 less for the same cohort of 6 with all of the processing, a transfer, and a year of cryo. They also show their donors online. But is it worth it? Do you get what you pay for?
Which would you choose?
