So after my 3rd failed DE/IVF attempt my RE has said I have recurrent implantation failure, but we really don't know why. One of the things my RE suggested for my next FET is to try a natural cycle, meaning no Lupron,BCPs or estrogen. I would just follow my natural cycle and use OPKs to detect ovulation, then I would trigger myself with an hCG shot and go in for the transfer 5 days later. I would still have to do the PIO shots. The reason my RE wants me to try this is that he said my body may reacting to the progesterone in the BCPs and this may be enough to throw my levels off and be a mismatch for the embryo. He told me that the success rate is virtually the same as with a medicated cycle, but it's a little less predictable because instead of the timing of everything being controled with the meds we are following my cycle. I'm a little nervous and was wondering if any of you have any experience/success with a natural cycle. Thanks for any advice or success stories.
