Hi, I'm doing a DE cycle with transfer at the end of July. I've just learned from these posts that some recipients do PGD/PGS.
I'm considering doing it, although the cost is close to $5000, in order to give us a better chance of transferring viable embryos. I spoke to the nurse at my clinic, and she said very few recipients do it because of the cost and because the eggs from a 29 year old woman are most often chromosomally normal. I need to decide by Monday. I would appreciate your thoughts on this if you've debated doing PGD as well...we could swing the extra cost, but this whole process has been so expensive that I really need to consider spending that extra $5000.
Thanks!
