Where they 3d? 5/6d? Did you end up with singleton or twins?
Now that I'm actually closer to transferring... I'm starting to worry about how many embryo's to transfer. Inititally, we planned on one 5 day per the REs suggestion. The first batch of frozen eggs never made it to five days and the egg bank almost didn't give me another batch. (They only gaurantee a 3day embryo, which I didn't know, I was following the REs lead on what to do)
So we get the new batch... everything is going good... and then the transfer failed (because of my cervix) the egg bank had them freeze them at 3 day.
I'm terrified they won't make the thaw... But I'm going to try to remain positive and think... they're going to be fine.... I have three embryos.
Since they're 3day... wouldn't my odds be better transferring two?? I don't really want twins... I'm not sure we could afford two kids in daycare. Actually, I know that we couldn't. It would be a huge financial strain... not to mention my body isn't in the best shape. I think it would be very hard on me.
I want the best chances possible though! I can't afford another $3990 plus drugs to try again! Not anytime soon anyway. I'm still trying to recover from all the additional expenses (surgery, etc) ... I'm up to almost $9k I didn't anticipate on spending!!
What would you do? I see the RE on Tuesday for my baseline and I want to talk to her about the best odds...
