For those w/ failed cycles...

We have recently had two failed cycles with PGS tested embryos.  I have been thinking it was due to my low pregesterone levels.  My doc went to a conference this week and there was a presentation about this test:

She is recommending it for me.  I will get more information at my appt on Thursday but basically you do a mock cycle, they take a biopsy on the day you would have transferred and in a week or 2 you get a report telling you if your lining is in one of the following states:

pre-receptive

receptive

post receptive

If your result is anything other than receptive, you repeat the test again changing your hormone intake or day of biopsy based on their recommendations to try to pinpoint your person window of receptivity.  I was just reading some posts on another forum and there was a case of a woman who failed 2 cycles, she had one embryo left and they discovered that she needed to be on progesterone for 7 days before transfer for her lining to be receptive and her final transfer worked.

This gives me a lot of hope for our next transfer and I just wanted to share it with those who might be in the same position.
