Donor egg recipient - how long is the process?

I’ve chosen my donor in June of this year and now I’ve just started my mock cycle. My donor has started her cycle too.

Does it usually take more than 5 months to have eggs transferred? Seems like such a long process from the time I’ve selected my donor.
