Hi all! I am just curious about your experiences with fertilization rate of your donor (or own) eggs.
I just got my fertilization report. I thawed 10 frozen eggs, 9 survived the thaw and only 4 were fertilized. They are still watching the other 5.
I know in my heart I should be over the moon that we potentially have 4 chances, but I can't help but feel disappointed and that 40% is not a great rate of fertilization.
What have your experiences been? Am I being unrealistic in hoping for better numbers than that?
