I know many of you ladies have used MEB and not had a problem. We've had stumbles with them and even with this decision we are willing to go with them because of their quality, but I believe these people are asses and fucktards that although they have a right to "protect" their numbers they don't have a right to be asses. Rant over on to the decision.
Finally heard from the ASSES at MEB (ok so I am still pissed). Well they were pushing to do the ICSI there at RBA, because you know they are soooooo much better (sarcasm) than Raj (our embryologist), but they finally relented to my RE doing the ICSI with the following conditions (yeah CONDITIONS): 1) we buy a bigger lot, so at least 8 eggs instead of the 6; 2) there is no guarantee at all so I have to sign a waiver; 3) must select (or they recommend I select) a proven donor.
I keep thinking what little faith these people have in their thaw rate that a worst of 75% fert rate scares the crap out of them.
So there you have it ladies. I need to call MEB and find out the cost for the 8 eggs and see what the next steps are. My nurse thinks we have to do the mock first before they give us access to the database (but she's unsure so I'm asking that too). Do any of you know if you had to do the mock cycle before gaining access to the donor dbase?
