Hi everyone!
I'm 45 and have a 3.5 y/o boy, conceived naturally (in between IVF treatments) when l was 41.
This is our 2nd egg donation (this time with a different donor) which resulted in 6 PGS tested blastocysts, of which 4 were normal (3 girls and 1 boy) and 2 were mosaic (2 boys). We did the first FET in April 2018 and got a BFN. We did the 2nd FET on June 8, 2018 and this time we got a BFP!!! I am now 6 weeks 4 days (I think). I have calculated my due date to be February 24th 2019. I calculated backwards from the date of embryo transfer. Since we were transferring a 5-day embryo, I just substracted 5 days to that date. So June 3rd should've been "ovulation day" or "egg collection day" (if l had had a fresh embryo transfer, which I didn't) and therefore June 3rd should be week 2. Am I right or am I wrong? My IVF coordinator says l should count from LMP, but this doesn't make sense to me because we already know how old the embryo was at the time of transfer.
How did you calculate your due date? Or did you just get your dates from your doctor when you had your first ultrasound?
I'm having my first ultrasound tomorrow. I'm rather nervous. I hope everything goes well. I've read some stories of people having MMC after egg donation with PGS.
Thanks! Oli
