I need to make a decision today, as there is another couple who will move forward with her if I don't. Donor fits all my criteria...healthy, not a carrier of genetic disease, intelligent, beautiful, similar skin tone/height to me and also local to my clinic so travel costs will not be involved.
My concern is her previous cycle results.
Cycle one: 44 eggs, 20 fertilized, results unknown. Clinic will not release.
Cycle two: 22 eggs, 3 normal embryos. Pregnancy result unknown.
My RE reviewed her records and said she is a great candidate. I have a call with the nurse today to discuss in more detail. I'm just concerned that the agency can't confirm positive pregnancy with either cycle. Also low number of embryos compared to eggs retrieved on the second cycle, and less than half fert rate on the first.
Any opinions? Thank you!
