I've been searching for an egg donor for several months. I may have finally found one, but I've never done this before and I feel unsure.
Can anyone give me feedback on this potential donor? She is 28 years old and has had six cycles, all with a very large egg output (over 20 eggs per retrieval, and a couple of times over 30) and a positive pregnancy resulting from each cycle. The RE at my clinic has approved her for an seventh cycle even though this is more than the 6 cycles that the ASRM recommends. The agency coordinator mentioned in passing that this donor is a good candidate "as long as you don't mind this being her seventh cycle." That gave me pause. Is a very experienced donor a negative, do you think? I do worry 28 is on the older side, but this donor's last cycle produced nearly 30 eggs just a few months ago and resulted in another positive pregnancy.
Thanks so much for any input.
