I am new to the donor egg process. My DH and I started 2 years ago with a vasectomy reversal. After that happened I got diagnosed with DOR. Then we tried naturally for a while but the vasectomy reversal failed.... a year later we did 1 IVF cycle with my own eggs. 13 days of stims ( 450 Gonal F and 150 menopur) we retrieved 1 egg which the fertilized with ICSI from our sperm retrieval. The egg was abnormal.... 40,000$ spent so far and we are down to our last chance so we are trying frozen donor egg as my RE said it was our best chance. My questions are how does the process work? Has anyone had success their first time using donor egg bank USA? What should I ask my RE for questions when we meet? If you're just doing frozen donor egg do you need to do a mock cycle before? Thanks in advance for any advice 💕.
