XPosted: Need Advice - Relative Donating Eggs

This was posted on the over 40 TTC board but I thought this would be a good board to post this on as well.

I turned 46 two months ago. Got a normal embryo on my first IVF (in vitro fertilization) at 45 but unfortunately she did not take. I very recently did a final hail Mary IVF (in vitro fertilization) which resulted in two blasts but both were abnormal (female). Just got the results a few days ago.  Not shocking but hard to hear because this means I won't ever have any biological children (well unless a miracle happens).   I decided to move on to donor embryos from California Conceptions.  I didn't tell my tell my family until last weekend (after the fact) that I had done one last IVF.  My niece, my full sister's daughter, just offered for me to use her eggs.  She just turned 20 last month and had a baby last month at week shy of her birthday.  She does not breast feed so no worries about the IVF (in vitro fertilization) meds affecting that.  I'm torn.  I had gotten to the point were I was ok using donor embryos and part of me feels she is too young to make such a decision.  She said she could come out to AZ and stay with me for two weeks for monitoring and retrieval.  My clinic said that 20 was old enough to do egg donation as long as she passed the psych evaluation and baseline ultrasound confirmed she as a good candidate for donation.  This should not be an issue given her age and the fact that she just had a baby.  Does anyone have experience with family donating eggs or sperm?  Do you feel like they look at your child as theirs?  Does it complicate family dynamics?  I never in a million years expected this turn of events.  I have already started the ball rolling with California Conceptions although I haven't given them any money yet. I would compensate my niece but it would be far, far less expensive than anonymous egg donation and work out to be about $4K more than embryo donation with California Conceptions if you include travel and meds.

ETA: I am single
