Hello,
I've recently started considering donor egg IVF due to my age. I have no kids, and I've gotten pregnant just once this year, which ended in MC at 10 weeks. The MC reignited my desired to have a child of my own, and I feel like this is my last chance.
I'm going to make an appointment with am RE doctor and discuss options with him/her. My insurance covers some infertility treatment, so I'm going to try and find a in-network doctor. Cornell-Weill in NYC would be most likely. I saw that some of you get your treatments there as well. What concerns me is the 6-9 months "waiting period" for donor match. Would I be better off looking for a donor through an agency? I'm Asian, and I feel like there may be fewer options for me.
I'm very anxious to look into this, and I'm sure I will have lots of questions. 😁
