DH and I are set to do our first donor cycle this summer. We selected our donor from an agency with a good reputation. We were told when we selected her that between her age (21), her day 3 FSH level, and her AMH level, she should have an average of 20 eggs retrieved. She is an unproven donor.
Several months ago, I asked someone at the agency if I could learn our donor's actual AMH number, but they said that that is private information. I was assured that the number is great, though.
Late last week, I talked to another person at the agency, and when I asked about my donor's AMH, she told me.
It's 2.68 ng/mL.
I'm not sure how to feel about this. I guess I thought it would be a little higher, since she's only 21 years old.
What do you think? Is this a good number? If you have done DE cycles and know your donor's AMH: What was your donor's number? How many eggs and embies did you get? Was it a successful cycle?
Any thoughts/info would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
