Autoimmune Issues?

Hi all! Question for you, but first, a little intro. I'll be doing my first DE transfer in August 2016. It'll be a fresh cycle with a 21 y/o unproven donor who has awesome AMH levels. If all goes well, DH and I plan to transfer one top-grade blast on day 5. We will freeze and do PGS on the rest of the embies (for back-up if the first transfer doesn't stick, and for siblings later on).

Here is my question. I've read that some of you have had unsuccessful DE transfers and miscarriages due to autoimmune issues. I know pretty much nothing about this problem, but I am curious because I would like to get tested for autoimmune issues before my transfer. (I asked my RE about it, and she basically dismissed my question as irrelevant.)

What is the scientific link between autoimmune problems and DE IVF problems (if any)? Is it true that some people's immune systems react negatively to the DE embryo and "reject" it? How does one get tested for autoimmune problems? Are autoimmune problems preventable or curable (for example, with dietary supplements)?

I'd be super grateful for any (scientifically reliable) info related to this. I'd also be appreciative of advice on whether or not I should be concerned about this generally, or press my RE for more info and/or testing. I'm trying to do everything in my power to prepare my body for the transfer.

Thanks ladies!!
