I'm still trying to choose between my options. Hoping anyone has advice!!
Here is my dilemma:
1) frozen DE cycle at CNY -- 5-7 eggs with ICSI and transfer for 7k, no guarantees but their stats aren't great and no PGS. We have no male factor issues.
OR
2) donor embryo transfer at Donor nexus/HRC in CA. 1 PGS embryo, guarantee of a viable embryo or almost all money back, discount on next cycle if bfn or mc- for $7500 plus about $2k in travel costs... Or up to 2 untested high quality blasts for same price, discount on next cycle.
I'm worried about the frozen egg stats and general low stats at CNY. But we could conceivably have some to freeze with that cycle. With the donor embryo, nada. That's it. But there is the guarantee - and maybe none of those 5-7 eggs make it to transfer? It's a risk.
We are ok with either in terms of the genetics - DH is ok with donor embryo.
Thoughts?? I have a consult with CNY next week and a phone consult with hrc ASAP. These are both plan Bs - plan A was an unshared fresh donor cycle with my current RE for $19k, which is truly an amazing price but more than we can do right now.
