FINALLY BFP DE after 3 fails - TIPS THAT COULD HELP YOU

I haven't been active here for close to a year, but for anyone who this might help: after many miscarriages with my own (old) eggs, I was told by my RE that there was NOTHING wrong with me except the age of my eggs and he said he would almost GUARANTEE I'd get pregnant using young donnor eggs.

Fast forward $40k later, 3 PDG tested 6day embroyos from a young 28yr old doner all failed. We had one left in the freezer. Let me add that Dr Tourgeman at HRC is just an incompetent, ego driven horror. Instead of doing any further testing on me before killing my only chance to have a daughter, he blamed me for the fail. He said "if you'd put in 2 to start with we would have known something was up". Imagine putting the blame on me, esp when I had explicitly been told to go one at a time as twins were high risk. With PDG testing, 3 embies should not have failed.

I changed doctors - of course. LISTEN UP LADIES: The new doctor recommended i see a Reproductive Immunologist. A blood test revealed I have immunity issues (even though I told Tourgeman I had eczema, hay fever etc - all the signs!) So, my last embryo remaining - hopefully my future son - was implanted after PROPER threatment (intralipids, IVIg prednisone, clexane etc) and now I am 7 weeks pregnant and all going strong! The past transfers did not even register.

If this post can help anyone, I am happy! If you have no luck with Dr Tourgeman, run away - he will blame you and get you off his books so you don't affect his numbers. Ask about intralipds, ask about natural killer cells. If your doctor tells you its BS, change doctors.

Happy conceptions, ladies x Bean
