We are going to be trying a FET after a chemical with my recent DE IVF#, we had 8 frozen eggs, all fertilized, we transferred two 3 day/AA embies but resulted in a chemical pregnancy. We have 5 frozen blasts left with the following scores
6 day/AA and a 6 day BB
5 day/BB X 3
So RE is recommending only transferring one embryo since they are all expanding blasts of high grade. We are not gunning for twins but wouldn't be devasted to have twins. Too add to it, if we transfer one and it didn't work, we would have to wait another year before we could try again for financial purpose as we just spent $30,000 on DE and now have to pay another $3800 for FET, so no way we could do another $3800 this year to try again right away.
So transferring two would increase our chances, of one sticking but puts us at risk for twins.
Oh and the success for a FET at my clinic using 2 embryos is 52%, decisions, decisions.....
