So we haven't even cycled yet, but the question arose, "What do you want to do with any leftover frozen embryos?" so of course I said I'd want to donate them.
Well, in order to donate them (and who knows if I'll even have any to donate!!!) my husband now has to go for yet another physical, so his doctor can fill out a form that he doesn't have track marks, skin lesions, etc. Of course we get to pay out of pocket for this.
Why is doing the right thing costing me more and more money???
Egg donors get paid, but embryo donors not only don't get paid, but have to pay extra money in storage fees and screening for the priviledge of donating. Just had to vent!!!! Still haven't decided if I'm going to keep jumping through hoops just to donate these hypothetical embryos that I may never even have!
