Hi All:
I've been on and off these boards for upwards of five years now. After too many failed pregnancies, IUIs and IVFs to count, we are going for our second round of donor egg IVFs this Sunday.
Our first two attempts with DE IVF failed, so switched doctors and elected to do a fresh cycle with a proven donor.
I got the first report today and out of 18 eggs retrieved, only 11 fertilized. I'm wondering if any of you know whether this is a bad sign. Our RE told us that we didn't need ICSI, but now I'm wondering if that was bad advice.
I am hoping this one is successful, but I'm worried ....
