A few guidelines revisions. I prefer guidelines to rules since we are all adults and this is overall a community where everyone is valued.
Donors recipients and women considering being a donor are welcome, but this is not the place to find a potential match or "advertise" to donor recipients. **Threads have been flagged by members in the past and will be deleted.
No solicitation of products, goods or services. No solicitation or requests for medications. **Threads have been flagged by members in the past and will be deleted.
Be respectful to all members. All viewpoints are welcome, no "bashing" those you disagree with or bullying. This has not been an issue in the past, but if flagged by members going forward, we will have to delete the post (not the thread, the post).
Pregnancies/BFP's/Beta's/Success Stories ETC. - We are happy to hear about and celebrate all of the successes! Please continue to post! These stories give hope an inspiration to others still struggling. But, in the past pregnancy specific threads (not DE related) have made other non-pregnant members feel excluded and a sensitive area for those that are struggling with loss etc.
Appropriate Thread Examples:
"BFP!" "First Beta Question" "Are you telling your OB about DE?" Birth Groups are also welcome. After the previous discussion, this is important to our members, so we should have in the group.
Exclusionary topics examples:
"Contractions or Braxton Hicks?", "Mucus Plug question", etc - These topics would be better off with a difference audience. Again, this is said based off of other members feedback. **If these questions are coming up within an existing thread that's totally fine, we are just asking that a new Thread isn't created to address.
If any member flags a thread (and assuming its an appropriate complaint), we will contact the author before any action is taken. The goal is not to delete threads because ALL discussions are valued and needed, but the overall theme is sensitivity to everyone and overall support for our DE Family.
Very much hoping this provides some clarity.
