I am new to this. I am 30 years old. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 3 years. We have done 6 iui's with one leading to pregnancy but miscarried at 8 weeks. After doing my first ivf I had 8 eggs. My doctor (who is ranked 2nd in the country) said he had never seen eggs like mine. 2 of them just dissolved, 1 had 8 polar bodies which he had never heard of and the rest had a bunch of chromosomal issues. I am completely healthy, young, and active. We were all in total shock. We have decided to do a donor ivf cycle next month. My doctor is hopeful that it will work. I just want a baby so I have tired to put aside that it may not look or act like me but at least will be half of my husband. He is totally supportive but I know he would really have liked to have one biological child. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone my age. I read all types of articles about this but it is in older women. My doctor diagnosed me with unknown ovaian dysfunction. Any advice would make me feel better. Thank you.
