When I did my immunology tests one of them came back positive. I had to go back and have further testing. They did a Natural Killer Cell Test (Natural Killer (NK) cells in women can cause the body to react abnormally to an implanting embryo, treating it as an invading cell and signaling for the body to attack it.)and it came back with a 9.9 suppression. This is probably the cause of the miscarriages I was having prior to choosing DE IVF.
RE has prescribed intralipid infusion. I will have an IV the day of transfer, the day i get a BFP and then every 28 days.
If you have had multiple miscarriages or failed IVF, you may want to ask you RE if they do these tests. Reading online it is not a common test but I am happy that my RE does them. It will hopefully give us a greater chance for a BFP.
